The former ruler of Sanguis moon received this picture and called it "junk mail." 8 days later Sanguis moon became uninhabitable. A man received this picture and immediately sent out copies, then received good fortune for an entire year, including winning a jackpot lottery. Copy, paste, and send this to 9 people or you will be cursed. Don't take any chances. Sanguis did, and now no one can live there.
[ He can't believe he's arguing about this... But while he'd have no problem telling Tsumugi, for example, that this is a waste of time and that he's not doing it, he's not that familiar with Midorima yet. More importantly, he has a favorable impression of Midorima and hopes that the same applies in reverse. ]
Fine. Nothing bad happened on the trip to the spring after we played rock-paper-scissors the whole way there, so I'll make sure I don't get cursed.
[ He probably won't actually forward it, but maybe he can just send it to Tsumugi nine times. ]
[ Midorima would be fine with that, honestly. There are no specific rules that it has to be different people or anything. He told Weiss that there were no compounding rules stated, so Keito's method is perfectly acceptable to him. ]
Your luck should increase then, too.
[ Then, a topic change: ]
Tenshouin mentioned you do archery. I'm looking for someone to teach me.
Though I'm also on the Physical Education committee at Shutoku, so I'm familiar with the basic requirements and rules of most sports.
[ So honestly, it'll definitely be something he can pick up on quickly since accuracy and obsessive practice are his way of life. At least Keito won't have to deal with someone who doesn't put the work in. ]

Re: text;
It doesn't seem logical for fate to curse an entire moon based on the actions of one man, even if he was the ruler.

[ That's not really the point here, though. ]
You should be careful about chain letters like this. Some of them are harmless, but others might be scams or contain viruses.

[ He's adamant about that, sorry Keito.
he also has no idea if you can copy and paste a virus but he doesn't like being wrong so here we are ]

Since I was young. I was the captain of the archery club at our school, as well.
[ And sure, after he and Leo bullied the scrubs away the club only had four people, but it counts. ]
If you're interested in kyuudou specifically, I'm happy to teach you.

You're already an athlete, right?
[ He hasn't spoken to Midorima about this directly yet, but he's pretty sure he remembers that being mentioned by Tsumugi or Eichi. ]

I found an archery range not long after I arrived.
[ He attaches the address to said range to his message. ]
They'll let you borrow a uniform and equipment, but it's best to buy your own if you're intending to practice regularly.

I'll use theirs first until I'm able to get a feel for the equipment and judge what I want out of my own, but I can purchase my own uniform.
